Innovative air valve system for personalized mattress comfort. This project focuses on an innovative air valve system for mattresses. It allows users to easily adjust the firmness of their mattress on a daily basis to suit their individual comfort preferences. It improves sleep quality by giving users more control over their individual comfort needs.
The valve is easy to produce and easy to use. The interface is intuitive and understandable for every generation and age. Its functionality is reduced to a user-friendly push button for adjusting the mattress firmness, which is easy also to operate while lying down.
Several prototypes of the valve were developed and tested in collaboration with the manufacturer. The aim was to develop a valve that was both user-friendly for the customer and compatible with the supplier’s manufacturing process.
The packaging design is tailored to the product and corresponds to the brand, the delivery requirements and the target customer. The focus is on protecting the product, a sustainable packaging design and a great unboxing experience for the customer.
The packaging design combines space-saving efficiency and product protection while offering a pleasant unpacking experience.
